MePA, which stands for Public Administration Electronic Marketplace, is an online platform managed by Consip that allows Public Administrations to purchase goods and services from qualified suppliers, for amounts below the EU threshold.

It is an e-procurement tool that facilitates transactions between PAs and SMEs, falling under the “Network Purchasing” system.

MePA is aimed at both PAs and suppliers who enable themselves on the platform.

 

How it works:

PAs consult catalogs of offers, compare proposals and conclude purchases telematically, following the rules and standards established by Consip.
